The idea to upcycle tshirts and turn them into bags is actually sweet. You can have so many fabric bags and don't have to get plastic bags every time. I can imagine that it can help to reduce plastic waste and safe some animal lifes :3

They deserve way more subs than 5 minute crafts because 5 minute puts the same thing over and over in every video. This channel you get new fresh stuff every video and it’s actually pretty creative.

Here are some more clothing hacks: If you've got laddered tights you can cut them into long thin strips and then either use them as alternatives to string or tie the ends together and use them as elastic bands. If one of your daughter's dresses gets too short but the body still fits just use it as a long t-shirt with leggings or over swimwear on the beach. When folding t-shirts to fit in a drawer, instead of stacking them vertically, once you've folded them the traditional way fold them in half again from top to bottom and stack them folded side up in horizontal rows. This makes it much easier to see what you've got and take stuff out of the drawer without messing your piles up. Don't throw away socks because ones got a hole or lost it's partner as they make great glass cleaning cloths, dusters and with the addition of googly eyes children's puppets. Or wait for it to happen again and put the two odd ones together for when it's really cold in bed or inside boots where it doesn't matter if they don't match. If your son has trousers that still fit his waist but are too short crop them into shorts. Ok so this one is not strictly clothing but if you don't know what to do with your child's artwork scan it into a computer and use photo transfer paper on plain tote bags to make family members unique Christmas or birthday presents. You can jazz up cheap plain t shirts or vests with old jewellery and or buttons and a hot glue gun.

Wendy Mc, I thought the same for a long period. it may surprise you, but people who beg don't need your clothes. They can easily buy cheap ones from a second hand shop. If you give them clothes, you may find them dumped by the next corner, or right at your door. This is the sad truth. Happened to me/ people I know so many times

You realise those are broken right?? And adult size. Just because they are poor doesn’t mean they are happy with receiving your torn-up, over-sized clothes. That’s like treating them like a garbage bin. These ideas are meant to save fabric from the landfill and make sure less fabric are being made, as the fashion industry is the second biggest polluter after the oil industry. Also a lot of these clothes are made by child slave labour. Buying less fast fashion item is the best thing you can do for children in need
